Pastor John,
I am so thankful you are OK, and that your injury wasn't as bad as it could have been. When we first heard of your accident immediately the Spirit fell with a strong feeling of prayer. I am sure the feeling hit many of the family to pray for you. I remember praying, "God, don't let him have a very serious injury, such as severed artery, or ligaments, or veins. I know I did not know what to pray, but the Spirit did. That is why I am so grateful for the Holy Ghost that Jesus made available to us all.
After reading your response to Margaret I began having a lot of thoughts about why this happened to you. The Spirit reminded me about the importance of prayer and a clean heart without condemnation. I remembered Jesus prayed one of the most important prayers of all time. He prayed, "Father make them one as you and I are one." So when I got home today I started looking up things on prayer. I looked in the TFT and TFE book as well as the KJV bible. Here is what I found.
TFT (3/18) Just Ask
TFT (5/21) Ask
TFT (6/08) The Promises of God- In this particular TFT I found this in it. You said that you would not be here if Oral Roberts hadn't healed your daddy of cancer just a few years before you were born. Also it says Oral Roberts knew God loved people and that Oral Roberts loved people the way God loved people, with power. I thought in order for Bro. Roberts to have healed your daddy as well as the multitude of people he healed, he had to be praying and talking to God, and living right so that God would answer his prayer to heal the sick, make the deaf to hear, and the stutterer to speak plain. Make ones in wheel chairs stand and walk, make the blind to see.
I believe God has many prayers. He wants to answer. He is waiting for the ones He has chosen to use to pray them. So considering all the dangers there are facing God's people we need to have our minds on them because I know God thinks of His people all the time. We have a connection through the Spirit, the same way Oral Roberts had a connection to heal people.

TFE (7/24) The Payer of the Spirit
Prayer Scriptures
Acts 6:4 "But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word."
James 5:15 "And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him."
James 5:16 "Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."
Psalm 55:17 "Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud; and he shall
hear my voice."
All of 1st Thessalonians chapter 5
Matt 21:22 "And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
This is what I was thinking about all day. We have a good God who has all we need. You said you didn't know what God did this for. As for me, it gave me a lot to think about. God's people need prayer. And if He is waiting for anyone to pray, I pray we are ready to heed His call.
I believe he heard our prayers for you and I think we have many things to pray for. Like the body of Christ to be one as the Father and the Son are one. So that we can get closer to the day when our dear Savior will come to take us off this dangerous and wicked world.
Love you,
Tony
